This case concerns a claim by Ms. Jacqui Mc Carthy that Dublin Corporation discriminated against her within the meaning of section 2(d) of the Employment Equality Act, 1977 and section 74(2)(a) of the Employment Equality Act, 1998, contrary to the provisions of section 3 of the Employment Equality Act, 1977 and section 8 of the Employment Equality Act, 1998, when it penalised her for having in good faith previously referred a claim under the Employment Equality Act, 1977.
